Attendance, Odoo's dedicated attendance management module, includes all of the necessary features and tools for effective attendance management. For effective employee management, any company, regardless of size, must keep track of attendance.
The Odoo attendance module makes it simple to check in and out of work. The Check-in/Checkout key is located on the dashboard and can be used to instantly check-in or out. Odoo will instantly recognise the employee and instruct them to their appropriate Check-In page because their login information is stored in the Odoo database. The Check-in/Check-out section of the dashboard provides real-time tracking and will show you how much time you've worked and how much time you've taken off.
When you select the Kiosk Mode, you will be presented with two check-in options. Employees can check in quickly and easily using the kiosk mode.
Employees can check in either by scanning their badge or by using their identity cards.
Using the scanning feature, employees can instantly scan and check-in. These devices can be linked to Odoo in order to connect instantly to the database. You can also connect a barcode scanner to make it easier for employees to check in.
A list of employees will be displayed when you click IDENTIFY MANUALLY. When you click on an employee's profile, you'll be prompted to enter your PIN in order to check in.
To check-in, enter your PIN and click OK.
If your attendance profile is not protected by a pin or password, you can add one. To set a pin on an employee's attendance, navigate to the Attendance module's configuration tab from the dashboard.
Click the Edit button to edit the Employee profile. Under the Human resource Settings tab, enter the pin in the PIN Code field. In a similar way, enter the Badge ID. To save changes, click the save button. After completing the setup, return to the Attendance module and select Identify Manually from the Kiosk section. To check in, open the profile, enter the PIN, and click OK.
Once you start the attendance tab, you will see all of the information about employee attendance. Click the Create button on the Attendance page to add a new entry. The Attendance page is available in List and Kanban views, and you can update any item in the list by simply clicking on it.
Scanning and categorizing options are available to make it easier to access employee attendance. By clicking on the Add Custom Filter and Add Custom Group buttons, you can add a custom filter and group.
Reporting gives an in-depth overview of the Attendance Analysis and allows for quick data filtering. By clicking the MEASURES button, you can change the Measures. There are a number of ways to view the charts, including a Bar Chart, a Line Chart, and a Pie Chart. With the Pivot view, you can collect employee attendance data more quickly and efficiently. In the pivot view, click the INSERT IN SPREADSHEET button to insert the data into a Spreadsheet.
