Odoo Development Services

Success in Odoo depends on finding a partner that understands both code and business logic. You should select a Certified Odoo Partner with a strong portfolio in your specific industry. O2B Technologies leverages 10+ years of experience to deliver high-performance, scalable ERP ecosystems that are built to grow with your business.

Most businesses move to Odoo because their current ERP is either too rigid to customize or too expensive to keep extending. Odoo's modular, open-source architecture lets us build exactly what your workflows need without forcing you into someone else's process. Over time this usually means lower licensing costs, faster changes, and a system that actually fits how your team works instead of the other way around.

We follow a structured cycle: requirement discovery, solution design, development, functional and integration testing, deployment, and post-launch support. Each phase includes client check-ins so nothing gets built in isolation from how the business actually operates. This keeps scope, cost, and timelines predictable from kickoff to go-live.

Cost depends on the complexity of the modules, integrations, and workflows involved, along with whether the engagement is fixed-scope, hourly, or a dedicated resource model. A small module fix costs far less than a full custom application or multi-system integration. We provide a detailed estimate after a short requirement discussion so pricing is tied to your actual scope, not a generic package.

A straightforward module with a few fields, validations, or a simple report can often be delivered in one to two weeks. More complex modules involving custom workflows, security rules, or integrations typically take four to eight weeks. Timelines are confirmed once requirements are finalized, since the scope directly drives the schedule.

An Odoo developer builds and modifies modules, writes backend logic in Python and the ORM, designs views and QWeb templates, sets up security and access rules, and connects Odoo to external systems through APIs. They also handle testing, performance tuning, and documentation so the code holds up through future upgrades.

We work across the full Odoo stack: Python and the Odoo ORM for backend logic, QWeb and JavaScript for frontend views and portals, PostgreSQL for data, and REST APIs, XML-RPC, and webhooks for integrations. The exact tools we use depend on the version of Odoo you're on and what the project requires.

Yes. We regularly build modules from the ground up when standard Odoo apps don't cover an industry-specific process or workflow. This includes custom data models, validations, security rules, views, and reports designed around your exact requirements rather than adapting an existing module to fit.

We follow structured coding standards, use appropriate inheritance instead of overwriting core functionality, and run functional testing against real workflows and edge cases before anything goes live. Access control, integration resilience, and performance are reviewed as part of every build, not added as an afterthought.

A freelancer typically works alone and disappears once the immediate task is done. With O2B, you get a team backed by certified Odoo expertise, structured processes, testing, documentation, and long-term support, so the work holds up through future upgrades and isn't dependent on one person's availability.

Dedicated developer engagements are typically billed on a monthly or hourly basis depending on how much ongoing work you need. This model works well for businesses with continuous development, maintenance, or optimization needs rather than a single defined project, since it gives you consistent capacity without the overhead of a full in-house hire.

A certified partner has been vetted by Odoo for technical competency and delivery standards, which reduces the risk of poorly built customizations that break during upgrades. It also means you're working with a team that has direct access to Odoo's resources, updates, and best practices rather than relying on guesswork.

We start every engagement by mapping your current process, not just your feature requests, so the resulting workflows, validations, and approvals reflect how your business actually runs. Functional and technical teams work together throughout the project so the system logic matches real operations rather than a generic template.

No. The cheapest option often costs more later in the form of rework, poor upgrade compatibility, or unsupported code. Experience in your industry, certification, testing practices, and long-term support matter just as much as the initial quote, since they determine whether the system still works well a year or two after launch.

Ten-plus years of Odoo-focused experience, certified partner status, and a full-lifecycle scope covering implementation, customization, integration, migration, and long-term support. For enterprise engagements specifically, we bring structured testing, scalable architecture, and dedicated teams capable of handling complex, multi-module programs rather than isolated fixes.
