Odoo Community
Odoo Community is the free, open-source edition. You host it yourself and pay no license, so you can easily download it and run it on your own servers with full control over the system. It lacks Enterprise apps and features such as Studio, full accounting and Odoo support.
Odoo Enterprise
Odoo Enterprise is the paid edition. This version adds advanced features, including Odoo Studio, full accounting, a mobile-ready interface, appraisals and department dashboards. The Standard and Custom plans below are Odoo Enterprise.

Odoo is priced per user, per month. Standard and Custom include every Odoo app, so you no longer pay app by app. Your total depends on the plan, the number of users, annual or monthly billing, and how much implementation you need.

Odoo charges for employees who log in to the back end, such as staff entering timesheets or an outside accountant. Customers and vendors using the portal, and shoppers on your Odoo website, are free.
What the subscription does not include

A cloud-based platform that lets your team work from anywhere, at any time. It is a SaaS solution without custom modules.
Odoo.sh
Odoo's cloud platform as a service (PaaS). It allows custom modules and integrations built around your requirements. Odoo.sh hosting is billed separately from the subscription.
Self-hosting
Companies can host Odoo on their own servers. You can host Odoo on your own servers or on a cloud service like AWS.
